Mike is a high-performance executive and industry leader in the Semiconductor IP, Embedded Software and Consumer Electronic industries with exemplary strategic marketing, product management and business development experience. He is a creative strategist with expertise in leveraging technical and business acumen to drive products to market while growing relationships with key partners and customers. Demonstrated success in ensuring engineering, marketing and sales objectives are met, while growing revenues and meeting financial objectives. Natural leader and relationship-builder; widely and deeply networked with top global companies and industry influencers.

Mike Kaskowitz has over 37 years of technology and senior management experience in the embedded software and intellectual property (IP) industries. For the past ten years, he has been advising clients on their growth strategies with Copia Growth Partners (previously called ProvenIP), a company he founded in 2007. Previously, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Semiconductor IP for MOSAID, where he successfully tripled the business within a year and divested it to Synopsys, was President of the VSI Alliance, the leading Semiconductor IP standards body, and General Manager of the IP and Embedded Software divisions of Mentor Graphics.

He initiates, structures, develops business cases and conducts business development consulting services for startups and corporations. He creates and incorporate businesses, develop business and product plans, and devise initial sales and marketing strategies. He also works with businesses to negotiate contract terms, project scope, and client management.

Mike also served as Vice President of Engineering at Cadence Design Systems, and Compression Labs, where he was involved in the divesture of the broadcast products division to General Instruments, as well as Director of IP for VLSI Technology, where he was involved in the formation of ARM Ltd. Mike holds a B.S. (Hon) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
