Mike Kaskowitz

Mike Kaskowitz has over 37 years of technology and senior management experience in the embedded software and intellectual property (IP) industries. For the past ten years, he has been advising clients on their growth strategies with Copia Growth Partners (previously called ProvenIP), a company he founded in 2007. Previously, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Semiconductor IP for MOSAID, where he successfully tripled the business within a year and divested it to Synopsys, was President of the VSI Alliance, the leading Semiconductor IP standards body, and General Manager of the IP and Embedded Software divisions of Mentor Graphics.

Mike also served as Vice President of Engineering at Cadence Design Systems, and Compression Labs, where he was involved in the divesture of the broadcast products division to General Instruments, as well as Director of IP for VLSI Technology, where he was involved in the formation of ARM Ltd. Mike holds a B.S. (Hon) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.

Eran Sandhaus - Managing Director
Eran Sandhaus

Eran Sandhaus is an advisor and board member to leading corporates and startups in the field of autonomous driving, connected services and smart mobility. Eran also serves as an Executive in Residence at Plug and Play Technology Center and member in J-Angles, a silicon valley based angel investing group, mentoring startups and helping them raise funds.

Most recently, he led Delphi Automotive’s Autonomous Driving and Connected Services business unit, overseeing global engineering teams, business staff and wholly owned subsidiaries focused on providing hardware, software, algorithms and cloud services to transform future mobility. In this capacity, Eran collaborated with leading OEMs, transport operators, suppliers, and governments such as BMW, Mobileye, Intel, Transdev and Lyft among others.

Prior to Delphi, Eran was a senior executive for over 20 years in Fortune 500 companies including Qualcomm, Cypress, Texas Instruments and Marvell. During this period Eran led global businesses focused on server communications, storage, mobile handsets and Internet-of-Things (IoT) for consumer, automotive and industrial applications. Eran managed teams & operations globally in the US, the EU, China, Israel and India.

In the past decade, Eran made investments and acquisitions that yielded accelerated growth and market share gains. These transactions included companies in the areas of big data, automotive sensors, self-driving algorithms, artificial intelligence, wireless connectivity and precise positioning.

Ilana Golan

Ilana is an entrepreneur, business development and operations executive. Selected as 40 top women to watch in 2016 and Silicon Valley Business Journal Women of Influence for 2017. Bringing 20 years of engineering, product management, sales, business development, operations and entrepreneurial experience to help companies grow. Working with many accelerators and VCs in Silicon Valley such as Google Launchpad, Singularity University, OneTraction.vc and others to advise their startups, help them reach profitability and raise significant VC capital.

Ilana started her own AI company Stiya (acquired). Founded the US of Quali, an enterprise cloud automation company, focusing on technical sales, business development and account management. Ilana transformed the company to become an industry standard, 5 offices big and exceptional growth reaching $15M yearly revenue. Previously Ilana was leading technical sales in Tier 1 accounts and was part of an exit of $300M (Verisity).

Ilana started her career as an F-16 flight simulator instructor and became the first woman to become a commander and in-charge of training of all F-16 pilots in Israel in the simulator.

Ilana studied Electrical Engineering majoring in Hardware and Software Computer Engineering.

Steve Glaser- Managing Director
Steve Glaser

Steve brings a unique combination of deep strategic skills and experience, a passion for emerging technologies, markets and business, and an ability to create simple but impactful perspectives and positions in communications.

Most recently, Steve spent 7 years as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Marketing at Xilinx, a company that plays a significant role in enabling a very wide range of emerging technologies and applications.

Steve helped define and drive a strategic transformation at Xilinx from a hardware centric component provider to an increasingly software centric applications enabler. This included the establishment of growth drivers aligned to 5 industry megatrends; AI/Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, 5G, Vision Systems, and Industrial IoT.

Steve was responsible for all corporate strategy, market development, market research, and ecosystem development, as well CEO, employee, investor and corporate communications. During Steve’s tenure, Xilinx increased its market value from approximately $7B to $19B.

Prior to Xilinx, Steve served in strategic and senior executive roles driving industry initiatives, strategy, technology direction, M&A, investments and marketing for multiple leaders in design automation (including Cadence), ASICs (VLSI Technology) and communications (Hughes Space and Communications Group).

As part of these roles, Steve has also invested in small companies and served on multiple small company boards with successful exits.

Steve has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of British Columbia.

Currently, Steve is working as a Managing Director in Copia Growth Partners, serving as Executive in Residence at Plug and Play Technology Center, mentoring start-ups and serving on advisory boards

Jon Paul Edwards

Jon Paul Edwards joined Copia Growth Partners in 2014 and serves as a Principle and VP of Strategy & Operations. Jon Paul has over 14 years of technology and advisory experience, spanning ERP, web technologies, and embedded industry applications. As an M.B.A., Jon Paul guides clients through strategy development for companies in the intellectual property (IP) industry and embedded software industries. He has also led them through the valuation and M&A processes by identifying their key strategic value, finding potential targets, managing due diligence and post-acquisition integration. In his earlier years, Jon Paul helped implement and manage various phases of ERP implementations, including M&A IT integration, post-merger. Jon Paul holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Texas Tech University, and an M.B.A. from University of San Francisco.
